our product reviews

in our own words … these are some of the things that we have bought and here’s what we think of them

two splash bags and two 7Kg sacks of bath potion
a 7Kg hessian sack of bath salts / bath potion on the bathroom floor

These 7Kg hessian sacks are amazing. I tried a smaller packet of Stress Buster first and I loved the smell, so I bought myself a sack. This is my second sack, and I love the smell even more than the last one. They last a long time, and I still have nearly all of the previous sack.

Stress Buster is now my favourite, it’s open and clean and fresh, and it makes the whole bathroom smell lovely.

I got this because I like a bag, and I love bright colours. I already have one with the Sunburst Dream pattern, which I was pleased with and it has been commented on everywhere I have taken it.

This new one, like the other, feels like it’s built to last. It’s made of cotton with a polyester lining, and I can tell you that they hold a lot more than you might think.

scorpio fragrance oil being held in a hand
a full set of zodiac fragrance oils
Zodiac Fragrance Oil - SCORPIO

I bought a full set, as you can see in the photo, but as I was born in November on the cusp between Scorpio and Sagittarius, I was drawn to my own birth sign. The packaging is nice to look at with its underlying purple theme, which is also reflected in the oil. The Scorpio scent is spicy with a hint of citrus that lifts my spirit and helps me concentrate whilst working. I also bought an atomiser, and have to say that a few drops of oil lasts all day, and the fragrance doesn’t seem to fade away.

molten glass on wood Gamal root

I was intrigued, and I liked the look of these when I first saw them, so I thought I would have one. Well worth it, the colour is striking and it is definitely the colour of beer bottles – the green ones, not the brown ones!

You can see where the blown glass is allowed to relax against the Gamal Root, and there are burn marks to be seen. I think these are good value, and I have never seen them in the High Street.

an unlit coconut leaf lamp on a windowsill
a coconut leaf lamp before assembly
a coconut leaf lamp that is lit and glowing and reflected in water

I bought one of these for my mum, because she had never really seen anything like this. She loved it and it now sits on the windowsill in the living room. I unpacked it and assembled it prior to giving it to her, but it wasn’t tricky. These lamps are natural and give off the natural vibe since they are not mass produced in a factory. They also look the part when they are lit up, which is what you would expect from a lamp.
